REQUIREMENTS FOR SAFE AND PROPER TANDEM PARAGLIDER FLYING: A tandem paraglider pilot must have the prescribed license for a tandem paraglider pilot. An adult can fly a tandem paraglider as a passenger. Exceptionally, a minor who is older than 12 years can fly a tandem paraglider, as a passenger, if a parent or guardian is present at take-off. Before the start of the flight with the passenger, the tandem paraglider pilot is obliged to familiarize the passenger with the risks of tandem paraglider flight, with the equipment of the tandem paraglider, with the procedures for take-off, flight and landing, and with the procedures in emergency situations. Flying a tandem paraglider is not allowed if the passenger does not sign a declaration of readiness to fly and acceptance of the risks of flying a tandem paraglider. The declaration for a minor tandem paraglider passenger is signed by his parent or guardian.
